Intermittent Dredge Operator 1 (Indian Lake) - Multiple Positions

What we need:

We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of intermittent Dredge Operator 1 (8 positions available) within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at Indian Lake State Park Dredge, assigned to Logan County. What you will do…

•    Operate heavy equipment to maintain dredge material relocation areas & lake improvement projects
•    Remove sediment & aquatic vegetation from waterways
•    Operate dredge-related equipment such as pickup truck, boats, barges, tractors, & mowers
•    Hourly pay of $20.85/hr.
 

Duration...

•    Late March through mid-June, unless otherwise noted
 

Work hours and conditions...

•    Variable, up to 40 hours/week
•    Work involves exposure to noise, fumes, dirt, heat & inclement weather
•    Required to work on water surface
 

Please note...

These are maximum duration, 1000-hour intermittent (unclassified) positions for the Division of Parks & Watercraft. 

The intermittent positions will remain at step 1 of the pay range. These intermittent positions are not eligible for benefits (e.g., vision, dental, life, health insurance, holiday pay, leave accruals [vacation, personal, sick], any other paid leave, shift differential, pay supplements, etc.).

6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in equipment operation & maintenance (e.g., tractor, dump truck); 6 mos. trg or 6 mos. exp. in equipment safety practices.
