Boutique Birmingham litigation defense firm seeking a litigation paralegal with 2-5 years’ experience. Areas of practice include medical malpractice, professional liability, products liability, construction defects, insurance defense and workers’ compensation cases. Qualified candidates will possess excellent organizational skills and must demonstrate an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Candidate should be a self-starter and possess an ability to work independently in addition to working closely with other staff and attorneys. Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook and should be comfortable investigating cases, retrieving and reviewing medical records, assisting in discovery and assisting in the preparation of attorneys for hearings, trials and mediation.
