LEHR is seeking an experienced Automotive Quality Control Technician who will be responsible for programming the light and siren systems and finalizing all installations.

Responsibilities:

Install and program light and siren systems and other emergency vehicle equipment
Check and finalize completed system Installations
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
Organize tools and inventory

Qualifications:

Required:

One year of IT/Programming experience
Experience using hand tools and power tools
Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience
Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and on a team
Must respect and work positively with first responders and law enforcement
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

Experience with 12V electrical systems
Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams

Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification required within 12 months of hire (will help with prep)

Compensation and Benefits:

$23-$25 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
No weekends
