Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Lakewood AutoParts Whse - Lakewood, NJ 08701Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: NoneSalary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: AutomotiveJob Description: Cashiers are responsible for the accurate handling of payment transactions within a specific location.   Essential Functions and Requirements: This job position will include but not be limited to the following: Accurately count and post payments against open COD invoices and receipt of payment for charge accounts Accurately identify the payment method is valid (i.e. customer is using their own credit card) Check in and process new, core, and defective returns from customers. Check in and receive payments from drivers and keep track using the cash log. Monitor the open COD list daily and communicate needed payments with the Manager. Maintain a clean workspace including vacuuming all common areas around counter and dispatch daily. Keep control of the locations gas cards- know rules regarding fueling and communicate with the Manager when help is needed. QualificationsQualifications: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Ability to fully understand all job requirements. Previous experience handling cash is preferred. Must possess interpersonal skills, organizational skills, be a self-starter and have the ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written) with management. Ability to perform in an organized, timely and efficient manner.
