PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To work as a Clinical Manager with a team of clinicians, interns and team members who collectively deliver the highest quality care using a client-centered model, ensuring a healthy treatment community, and a strong organizational culture.  This position will be for a new clinic opening in Lowry. You will manage the client services staff, ensuring the team operates effectively, follows policies, procedures, and processes, as well as providing high-quality care. Position holds 75% of a full-time clinician’s client facing time (may be adjusted based on staffing and census).


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure clinical services align with organization policies and meet regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot clinical issues that arise day-to-day at the location(s) in collaboration with the Clinical Director. 
  • Ensure documentation is up to standard and complete for audits or reviews. 
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director to implement clinical improvements. 
  • Effectively manage outpatient groups, support day programming and evening IOP groups, and achieve or exceed organizational goals of AMA < 30%, graduation rate of 50%, length of stay > 80 days, and >80% group attendance rate.
  • Coordinates with the admissions team to support preadmissions screens as well as intake availability
  • Conducts accurate Biopsychosocial Assessments with new clients. 
  • Have knowledge and skills in recognizing symptoms of disorders according to DSM 5 criteria while documenting data to support diagnosis. 
  • Supports creation and implementation of individualized treatment and continuing care plans that include multidisciplinary team input as well as involvement of the patient, referent, family, and other appropriate collateral resources. 
  • Conducts individual and group counseling using proven approaches including Cognitive Behavioral treatment, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and other evidence-based practices. 
  • Produces and ensures high quality and accurate clinical documentation along with consistent, on-time submission of all required documentation
  •  Facilitates consistent communication with family members/significant others throughout treatment. 
  • Maintains very high client and family satisfaction rates, as evidenced by strong client satisfaction surveys.
  • Has a keen understanding of regulations and ethics pertaining to the state license(s) and national accreditation(s) held by licensing board; responsible for staying current on own licenses, training, and certifications.
  • Consistently responsive to all emails and phone calls both internally and externally.
  • Works with the medical personnel to ensure shared understanding of client needs and consistent, excellent client experience, contributing to better client outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Be able to perform other duties listed above while maintaining 75% of client facing time (15-19 hours) compared to that of a primary clinician based on census, group hours and number of staff. 
  • Potential to supervise interns
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the policies and procedures of the program, holding self and other staff accountable to the expectations of the organization.
  • Regularly attends and thoughtfully participates in staff meetings, providing clear case conceptualizations, and offering key information / input as needed.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide supervision for clinical staff at assigned location including clinical supervision of the Case Manager/Office Manager, Interns and Contractors, providing direct supervision, feedback, and performance evaluations. 

  • Provide effective, strengths-based supervision to site’s clinical team and any other supervisees that support organizational and ethical standards as well as provides growth and self-efficacy for supervisees. 
  • Implement policies and procedures that align with the overall mission and vision of AspenRidge Recovery 
  • Engage in interviews, onboarding and training of new clinical staff, contractors, and practicum as well as intern students.
  • Manage group schedule and assign clinical caseloads.
  • Manage day-to-day issues and crises in a dynamic clinical environment.
  • Oversee staff as assigned
  • Timecards as assigned


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree and licensure in good standing in the state of Colorado (LACC, LAC, LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPCC, MSW), without any limitations to the license.
  • Skilled in several areas of treatment; individual, cross-cultural issues, trauma informed care, client-centered treatment, evidenced-based interventions, treatment planning, discharge planning, 
  • Minimum two years of continuous sobriety 


 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Full licensure in good standing in the state of Colorado (LAC, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT), without any limitations to the license.
  • Must have 3 or more years providing chemical dependency and /or mental health counseling (supervised internship applies)
  • Able to work at least one evening until 8:30pm 
    • Ability to use Microsoft office programs and other computer skills
  • Group counseling
  • Crisis intervention
  • Client assessment and evaluation
  • SUD counseling 
  • 2-3 years of Supervisory/Management experience



CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Master's Degree Preferred in Social Work, Psychology, Addiction Studies, counseling or related field.
  • License in good standing in the state of Colorado (LACC, LAC, LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPCC, MSW), without any limitations to the license.

  • Strong initiative and very resourceful in creating and finding ways to get things done. 
  • Solid team-player 
  • Punctual with meetings and project timelines 
  • Good with online EHR/software and Microsoft suite products 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Office and Clinical setting work environment.
  • Ability to lift or carry 25 lbs. 
  • The physical environment is typical of a standard office space. It requires the employee to work inside for the duration of work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting for more than 75% of the time. This position will require occasionally moving about inside the office to access equipment, cabinets, etc. May work around office equipment which could be noisy, such as copiers and fax machines.

  • Travel: minimal between clinics
