Job Description:

School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full Time | Lakewood, WA | 2026-2027 School Year

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the rest of the 2026-2027 school year in Lakewood, Washington. We’re a therapist-operated company that puts clinicians and students first. This is an in-person position in a school setting, and we welcome both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and experienced SLPs to apply. New to schools? No problem — we provide mentorship and support!

Job Highlights:

  • Location: Lakewood, WA

  • Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - K-12 caseload

  • Schedule: Full Time 1.0 FTE available as well as part-time positions

  • School Year: 2026-2027

  • Start Date: August/September 2026 for the entire school year

  • In-person only

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services in a K–12 school setting

  • Conduct evaluations and write reports

  • Develop and implement IEP goals

  • Collaborate with special education teams, educators, and families

  • Complete documentation and progress monitoring in a timely manner

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State SLP license (or ability to obtain quickly)

  • Washington ESA Certification required (or willingness to acquire)

  • CFs welcome to apply
