We are seeking a dependable, skilled Maintenance Professional to support the day-to-day operations of our Lakewood campus! Â This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and well-kept environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Qualifications:
  •   Previous experience in maintenance or construction
  ◦   Previous experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting is preferred
  •   Working knowledge of basic building systems and repairs
  •   Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  •   Strong attention to safety and detail
  •   Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Responsibilities:
  •   Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance throughout the facility
  •   Troubleshoot and perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
  •   Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize work orders in a timely manner
  •   Support facility safety programs, including fire safety and emergency preparedness
  •   Assist with required inspections, testing, and documentation
  •   Maintain compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations
  •   Participate in on-call or after-hours coverage as needed
  •   Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner
Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on maintenance skills with the ability to troubleshoot and perform routine, preventive, and corrective repairs across a variety of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Â They will demonstrate a solid understanding of safety practices and regulatory compliance, particularly in a healthcare or nursing facility environment. This role requires excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively prioritize work orders and respond promptly to maintenance needs. The candidate must be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of following written and verbal instructions while working independently or collaboratively with a team. Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to facility upkeep, and the ability to maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly manner are essential.
