About the Opportunity: 

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Farm Food Safety Compliance Analyst responsible to support and strengthen the company's farm food safety programs through compliance management, data analytics, document control, food safety software administration, and audit preparation activities. This position functions as a professional compliance specialist under the guidance of the Farming Food Safety Manager and is responsible for maintaining compliance with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) audit schemes, the FSMA Produce Safety Rule, LGMA requirements, and customer expectations. The role serves as a key resource for food safety data management, compliance reporting, records administration, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring records and systems remain audit-ready and compliant with regulatory and customer requirements. What You Will Need:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in food safety compliance, auditing, quality assurance, document control, data management, or related agricultural compliance programs.
  • Demonstrated experience creating, updating, implementing, and maintaining food safety programs, procedures, and records.
  • Knowledge of GAPs, GFSI audit schemes, FSMA Produce Safety Rule, and LGMA required.
  • Experience managing document control systems and maintaining food safety records in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, validate, analyze, trend, and report food safety and compliance data.
  • Experience utilizing food safety, compliance management, quality management, or related software systems.
  • Experience preparing documentation and coordinating records for internal, customer, regulatory, and certification audits.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision while working under manager direction.
  • Employee may be required to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays if needed.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Four-year degree in Food Science, Biology, Agronomy, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred.
  • Bi-lingual, English/Spanish, preferred.

Total Rewards:            $70,304 - $75,000 / YEAR 

 

  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
