Position Specifics:

Reports To: Service Manager and/or Store Manager

Supervises: None

FLSA Code: Nonexempt

Purpose:

To perform various tasks around the dealership in regard to detailing/washing agriculture and lawn and garden equipment and maintaining the lot.

Responsibilities:

Washing and cleaning agricultural and lawn and garden equipment
Lot work including mowing and trimming around the property and buildings.
Janitorial work such as sweeping and taking out the trash.
Loading / Unloading equipment
Keeps equipment on sales lot organized
Delivering lawn and garden / agricultural equipment from time to time
Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment
Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

General knowledge of how to operate agricultural equipment
Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used during detailing/washing process
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
Ability to climb up and down large agricultural equipment
Reliable attendance is mandatory
Timeliness in performing tasks
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
Valid driver’s license required along with an excellent driving record
Must maintain a good driving record in compliance with company Motor Vehicle Records criteria throughout employment
Fork lift license preferred

Pay Information:

The hourly pay range for this position is $17 to $22. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base hourly wage for this role. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.

In Season Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, Saturday 7am-12pm (rotation)
Off Season/Winter Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
*In Season Hours may be extended during peak seasons (planting, harvest, or any other peak selling season) to meet the needs of the store. Extended Hours are determined by the needs of the store and subject to change. *
*Off season hours are from November-March. Start and end date to winter hours is dependent on year and subject to change. *
