About the Lancaster plant
CMB is expanding and building onto our operations at the Lancaster, OH plant. We are looking for skilled and motivated people to help us as we ramp up our existing operations and add more capabilities to service our customers.
Job Purpose
-
To machine high-quality parts using precision equipment, which include using programming instructions for the part being manufactured. This position requires the machinist to program, set-up, and run the parts. These parts are to meet the high-quality standards set forth by CarnaudMetalbox Machinery.
Job Duties
-
Will manufacture a variety of parts from metals and other materials using CNC equipment, including turning centers, vertical machining centers, etc.

Program CNC machine tools using MasterCAM software

Ability to inspect parts manufactured

Experience
-
Trained machinist -Â preference given to candidates with 5+ years programming and operating experience with operating various CNC machine tools

Skills

Ability to machine a variety of materials to tight tolerances (+/- .0005)

Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications

Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment

Efficient at tool and machine setup and changeover

Experience using MasterCAM software

Microsoft Office computer literacy (Word and Excel mainly)
