Ecore is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Acoustical Solutions Manager to lead the growth and expansion of our acoustics business across North America. This high-impact role serves as both the commercial leader and technical subject matter expert for Ecore's acoustical solutions portfolio.
The ideal candidate combines strong business development and specification sales experience with a deep understanding of acoustics, architectural products, building materials, or commercial flooring. You will play a key role in driving market expansion, influencing product specifications, developing strategic partnerships, and supporting revenue growth nationwide.

What You'll Do
Strategic Business Development
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Ecore's acoustical solutions portfolio.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to accelerate growth.
- Establish and strengthen strategic partnerships across key industry segments.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of specification and project opportunities.
Specification Influence & Market Expansion
- Develop relationships with architects, acoustical consultants, engineers, contractors, end users, and channel partners.
- Drive product specifications during design, planning, and project development phases.
- Represent Ecore at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Increase brand awareness and market presence throughout North America.
Technical Sales Leadership
- Serve as the technical expert for Ecore's acoustical products and systems.
- Deliver technical presentations, continuing education programs (CEUs), product demonstrations, and customer training.
- Partner with regional sales teams to identify, develop, and win new business opportunities.
- Provide application guidance and technical consultation throughout the sales process.
Market Intelligence & Product Strategy
- Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and emerging market opportunities.
- Analyze competitive activity and provide actionable business insights.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Innovation teams to influence product development and portfolio strategy.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead acoustics-related initiatives across commercial and operational teams.
- Support long-term organizational planning as the acoustics business continues to grow.
- Act as a key internal resource for technical expertise and market knowledge.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience within commercial flooring, acoustics, architectural products, building materials, construction products, or a related industry.
- Proven success in specification-driven sales, business development, or market development roles.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, strategic planning, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence diverse stakeholders across the design, construction, and building product ecosystem.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout North America (up to 70%).
Preferred Experience
- Existing relationships with architects, acoustical consultants, engineering firms, contractors, or design professionals.
- Experience delivering technical presentations, CEUs, and educational programs.
- Knowledge of acoustical performance standards and building system applications.
- Demonstrated success launching new products, markets, or business initiatives.
Work Environment
This is a remote-based position supporting customers and projects across North America. The role requires frequent travel to:
- Customer offices and project sites
- Architectural and engineering firms
- Industry conferences and trade shows
- Distribution partners
- Manufacturing facilities
- Ecore locations
Candidates should be comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
