Contract to Hire – Accounts Payable Accountant

Location: Fort Mill, SC

Schedule: Onsite

Compensation: $28–$32/hour

Position Type: Contract to Hire

Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join their team in a contract to hire capacity. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced manufacturing environment and has strong experience processing high volume invoices, managing vendor relationships, and supporting the month end close process.

Responsibilities

·       Process high volume weekly invoices accurately and timely

·       Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation

·       Review and reconcile vendor statements

·       Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies

·       Assist with weekly check runs and ACH/wire payments

·       Maintain accurate AP records and documentation

·       Support month end close activities including accruals and reconciliations

·       Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries

·       Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls

Qualifications

·       2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within manufacturing

·       Experience processing high volume invoices

·       Strong understanding of AP processes and reconciliations

·       ERP system experience preferred

·       Intermediate Excel skills

·       Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

·       Ability to work onsite in Fort Mill, VA
