New CNA Pay Rates

  • Earn up to $20.62 per hour

  • Experienced CNAs may qualify for additional earning opportunities

  • Ask how you may earn an additional 10% of your base rate by opting out of certain elective benefits

  • $5 shift differential for evening shifts

  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available

Available CNA Shifts

  • Days: 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

  • Evenings: 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

  • Overnights: 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do as a CNA:

  • Lead by example while directing and monitoring the personal-care responsibilities completed by Nursing Assistants on your assigned team.

  • Observe residents closely and promptly report changes in condition, unusual symptoms, daily needs, and progress to the Charge Nurse.

  • Follow each resident’s individualized care plan and help ensure assigned care is completed accurately, consistently, and respectfully.

  • Respond promptly to residents’ requests and communicate concerns to the appropriate nursing team member.

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living according to their individual needs and plan of care.

  • Promote residents’ comfort, safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life through attentive, compassionate care.

  • Work closely with nurses and fellow Nursing Assistants to maintain clear communication and continuity of care throughout the shift.

  • Contribute to a supportive, accountable team environment by helping coworkers and raising concerns when additional assistance is needed.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need as CNA:

Required

  • Must be at least 17 years old. Candidates who are 17 must provide the required Employment Certificate or Permit.

  • Active registration with the State Nurse Aide Registry, with no findings or convictions related to resident abuse, mistreatment, neglect, or misappropriation of property.

  • A caring, patient, and respectful approach to working with residents.

  • Ability to guide and work effectively with other nursing personnel.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to perform assigned responsibilities consistently and according to established standards of care.

  • Physical stamina to meet the demands of an active, resident-care position.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or higher level to support resident safety, effective teamwork, and clear communication with residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors.

Preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Training or work experience in a geriatric, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting.
