The Executive Housekeeper will assist in the supervision of the housekeeping team members and various areas located in the Dutch Wonderland Inn. This position directly supports the Housekeeping Director of Lodging by ensuring efficient operation of the department which provides a positive guest experience.We are currently looking for a:

Supervisory Duties:Â
Supervise the daily operations of the Housekeeping team and any other assigned departmentsÂ
Lead by example, attitude, and as a representation of Dutch Wonderland's core valuesÂ
Act as an approachable mentor and coach to all assigned team membersÂ
Ensure compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe and productive environment for colleagues and guestsÂ
Become knowledgeable of performing the essential duties of all assigned housekeepingpositions and backfill these positions when neededÂ
Participate in all aspects of supervision of assigned employees, including hiring,orientation, training, performance coaching, and disciplineÂ
Ensure that all required meal and other breaks are being given in accordance with PA lawÂ
Assist with team scheduling and timekeeping activitiesÂ

Departmental Duties:Â
Complete all daily tasks within the given timeframe based off the minutes per room average, which will be determined by the number of rooms to be cleaned each dayÂ
Provide exceptional guest service by treating all guests with courtesy and a smileÂ
Respond to all guest requests by delivering any requested items in a timely mannerÂ
Ensure that all guestrooms are properly prepared for next guest arrivals, including (but not limited to) the following:Â
Guestrooms and bathrooms are properly cleaned and disinfectedÂ
Bathroom and bed linens are replaced as dictated by brand standardsÂ
All beds are made as dictated by brand standardsÂ
All trash is removed and the room vacuumedÂ
The bathroom is cleaned to brand standards, including tile, tub, walls, sink, and floorÂ
All contents are removed from refrigeratorsÂ
All tables and surfaces are wiped down and dust-freeÂ
All sofa beds are restoredÂ
All supplies are replaced or addedÂ
Stock carts with necessary linens and supplies; ensure that carts are organized as dictated by standardsÂ
Report room status and maintenance problems accurately and in a timely mannerÂ
Maintains cart and bumpers to avoid damage to walls and doorsÂ
Properly handle, label, stock and store chemicals and cleaning suppliesÂ
Protect guest belongings; turn in lost and found items immediatelyÂ
Complete special projects as directed by managerÂ
All other dutiesassigned by leadershipÂ

Education and Experience:Â
No education requirements for this positionÂ
Minimum of 6 months of housekeeping experience is required.Â
Minimum of 6 months of previous supervisory experience would be a plusÂ
Â
Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.Â
