Company: Thermal Solutions Products, LLC

We are seeking a First Assembler to join our team!  This position will work to install pans, tubes, set fixture to proper length, roll tubes, install plugs etc. in. Install Hydro fixture, fill with water, check and repair leaks after hydro okayed by A.I., stamp NB plate, move from hydro.  Set base and trim according to print.  Will fit according to ASME code.

This is a full-time, union-hourly position located in Lancaster, PA.  Hours are Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Overtime when needed.

Essential Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the above requirements, this individual will be required, at times, to possess, troubleshoot, repair, or maintain the following:

  • Obtains list of vessel needed to be tubed from Production Control.
  • Tube and plug vessels from list.
  • Move vessels to hydro line and fill vessel with water for hydro test.
  • Check and repair leaks if necessary.
  • Stamp NB plate.
  • Move vessel to trim area.
  • Attach vessel to base and attach needed hardware as per ASME flat grove.
  • Move to lower jacket assembly.
  • Performs related work as directed, commensurate with this or lesser rated labor grades.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Ability to use and understand measuring devices 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Ability to compute rates.
  • Utilize computers, scanners and printers as required
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
