Job DetailsJob Location: Lancaster-SC - Lancaster, SC 29720Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: NightJob Category: FacilitiesThe position provides electrical and mechanical services with responsibility for identifying repair and/or replacement needs including but not limited to installation, repair, maintenance, and upgrade of electrical systems and equipment. POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES: • Employ expected knowledge of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electrical circuitry for repair, maintenance, and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment. • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance work on equipment and facility as assigned by the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). • Utilize usage of programmable logic controllers (PLC) for troubleshooting as needed. • Adhere to all practices, policies and procedures according to ISO 9001and ISO 14000 requirements. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of electrical voltage, amperage, wiring and circuitry on common industrial equipment. Must be able to interface with vendors in troubleshooting equipment. Must also have the same requirements as a Maintenance Mechanic, which are as follows: experienced in all aspects of mechanical repair to production equipment including: gears, valves, hydraulics, motors, etc. Able to read blueprints and to perform work accordingly. Works with limited amount of supervision and can solve equipment failure from cause to correction. 5 to 7 years’ experience in a manufacturing/operation environment a must. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) knowledge required. Computer skills required. Experience in plastic processing, web handling and extrusion are a plus.
