Purpose of the Job:Â
The Marketing & Communications Director leads the strategy, systems, and execution of all communication and marketing efforts at Victory Church. This role is responsible for driving growth, ensuring clear and compelling messaging, and building scalable systems that support all campuses and ministries. This is not a task-based role. This role owns outcomes.Â
Experience and Knowledge Required:Â
5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field (church or non-profit preferred)Â
Proven ability to lead campaigns that drive measurable resultsÂ
Strong understanding of digital marketing (social, email, web, paid ads)Â
Experience building systems and improving workflowsÂ
Strong storytelling instincts and ability to connect messaging to actionÂ
Proficient in relevant tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CMS platforms, email systems, etc.)Â
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (preferred, not required)Â
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Â
Strategy &Â GrowthÂ
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with Victory’s missionÂ
Own and drive measurable growth in attendance, engagement, and participationÂ
Establish and track KPIs (attendance trends, first-time guests, engagement metrics, campaign performance)Â
Oversee digital marketing efforts including paid ads, landing pages, and audience targetingÂ
Campaign LeadershipÂ
Lead planning and execution of all major campaigns (sermon series, events, seasonal initiatives)Â
Ensure campaigns are fully defined upfront (messaging, deliverables, timelines, distribution)Â
Partner with Executive Team and ministry leaders to align priorities and directionÂ
Systems & ProcessÂ
Build and enforce communication request systems across all ministriesÂ
Ensure all requests are complete, clear, and submitted on timeÂ
Mitigate last-minute, incomplete, and reactive communication workflowsÂ
Creative & Brand DirectionÂ
Provide strategic direction for all creative output in collaboration with the Creative TeamÂ
Ensure brand consistency across all platforms, environments, and campusesÂ
Drive a high standard of storytelling, design, and communication qualityÂ
Oversee signage, environmental branding, and weekend communication touchpointsÂ
Content & StorytellingÂ
Lead the development of content that communicates life change and ministry impactÂ
Build systems for capturing stories across all campuses (staff + volunteer pipelines)Â
Oversee social media, email, website, and livestream communication strategyÂ
Multi-Campus AlignmentÂ
Ensure communication strategies and campaigns are effective and consistent across all locationsÂ
Provide tools, templates, and training to support campus teamsÂ
Maintain centralized clarity while enabling local executionÂ
