The Production Lead is a working leader that assigns tasks to employees and ensures completion. The Lead ensures safety and operational procedures are followed and provides input to Supervisors for recommended actions or changes. |
Duties and Responsibilities |
- Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following safety procedures and processes
- Assign daily tasks to team members.
- Communicate clear instructions to team members.
- Enforces safety protocol and cleanliness in the work area.
- Provide Supervisor with feedback on employee performance.
- Train and mentor new hires through use of audits, inspections, or other methods.
- Address safety concerns or relay to Supervisor.
- Temporary responsibility of shift during absence of Production Supervisor.
- Assist with shift reporting.
- Able to respond to emergency situations safely and calmly.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications |
- Previous leadership or supervisory history for a minimum of 2 years.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must be able to pass physical and fit testing for respiratory protection if required.
- Must be capable of standing or sitting for long durations.
- Must have first aid, CPR, and AED certificate or ability to obtain certification.
- Must have forklift license (propane, electric, aerial platform, and turret) or ability to obtain one.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand basic English.
- Ability to lead others and make decisions.
- Ability to work well with others.

Education and Training Requirements |
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
