As a Senior Financial Planner at Lancaster Leaf Tobacco Company, you will be responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis activities to support strategic and operational decision-making. This role partners closely with senior leadership and department heads to deliver actionable financial insights, improve profitability, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
- Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
- Analyze variances between actual results, budget, and forecast; clearly communicate drivers and risks.
- Business & Operational Support
- Partner with operations, sales, and supply chain leaders to understand cost drivers and revenue trends.
- Support pricing analysis, margin improvement initiatives, and productivity metrics.
- Provide financial guidance for new products, programs, and operational changes.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data.
- Process Improvement & Controls
- Improve FP&A processes, tools, and reporting efficiency.
- Support internal controls, audits, and compliance with company policies.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to finance team development.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5–8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience working with ERP and financial planning systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical problem‑solving
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
- Proven ability to partner with business leaders to support decision‑making and drive outcomes
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high‑quality work
- Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify process enhancements and implement efficiencies
- Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess impacts, anticipate risks, and align analysis with business objectives
 Preferred Requirements
- MBA, CPA, or CMA
- Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, consumer products, or distribution environments
- Advanced experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
- Proven ability to influence decision-making at leadership level.
