Pay Rate: $33.50-$49.60 hourly Job Description: The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role appropriate tasks in the implementation of care. Provides quality nursing care based on a family centered approach. Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process. Provides thorough, concise, accurate and legible documentation of the nursing process. Works closely with physicians and other team members addressing patient/family concerns to ensure a smooth transition of care. Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate safe manner. Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with FMC policies and procedures. Ensures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care, reporting malfunctions to proper department. QualificationsJob Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred. Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio. CPR required. Previous nursing experience preferred. Must be able to physically exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work. Position may require frequent patient handling activity.
