Are you a resilient flooring installation pro who loves solving problems on the job site and helping others get it right the first time? Join us as a Field Service Technician, where you’ll use your installation expertise to train contractors, support field projects, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure Ecore products perform at their absolute best.

This is the perfect role for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys teaching others, and wants to become the go‑to technical expert for resilient flooring systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the installation expert. Train contractors and customers on proper installation and maintenance of resilient flooring products—both on-site and in-house.
  • Support field projects. Provide on-site supervision, answer technical questions, and ensure job sites are properly prepared before installation begins.
  • Solve problems in real time. Investigate claims, troubleshoot issues, and support warranty resolution through calls, email, or site visits.
  • Create best practices. Develop and update installation and maintenance protocols, training materials, and instructional videos.
  • Improve product performance. Assist with in-house testing of adhesives, mitigation systems, subfloor prep, welds, cleaners, and more.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in resilient flooring installation, construction project support, or technical field services.
  • Strong background in flooring installation and job-site troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to guide installers, customers, and partners professionally—even in challenging situations.
  • Problem-solving ability and solid technical judgment for working through claims with empathy and accuracy.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with contractors, distributors, sales teams, and end users.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, sometimes on short notice.
