Position Type: Full-Time Summer / Part-Time School Year

DentalEZ, Inc., is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team. You will work under the supervision of senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience in production processes, quality control, and process improvement projects. This position provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world production challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing workflows (Lean Manufacturing, 5S).

Documentation: Create, update, and maintain, work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and technical drawings.

Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to support projects related to quality, cost reduction, or manufacturing improvements.

Troubleshooting: Participate in identifying root causes for production issues and support equipment maintenance/troubleshooting.

Project Support: Assist with tooling design, equipment installation, and testing new processes.

Qualifications:

Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
Proficiency in computer software, such as Creo Parametric, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office (Excel, Word).
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in a plant environment and handle hands-on tasks.
