Job Duties & Responsibilities:Â Â
Welcome team members and guests with a smile and positive attitude!Â
Professionally and legally represent Dutch Wonderland to ensure continued compliance with all federal, state, and local employment lawsÂ
Distribute team member uniforms and keep track of inventory Â
Create team member ID badges and name tagsÂ
Assist with recruiting and interviewing initiatives throughout the seasonÂ
Schedule and facilitate team member orientations and ensure all team members complete the required onboarding activitiesÂ
Conduct Park tours for new employeesÂ
Assist with the coordination and execution of exciting team member eventsÂ
Respond to team member inquiries via phone and email Â
Distribute paychecks on a bi-weekly basis and answer inquiries related to payÂ
Assist with timekeeping for assigned departmentsÂ
Review payroll and proactively identifies errorsÂ
Assist with data entry into HRIS and Learning systemsÂ
Review and track compliance with work permits for minorsÂ
Assist with processing HR paperwork, employee transactions, and terminationsÂ
Assist employees with Workday navigation and password resetsÂ
Assist with scheduling departments using workforce management platform, QuinyxÂ
Perform copying, filing and various other administrative dutiesÂ
All other duties assigned by leadership
ÂEducation & Work Experience:Â
Minimum of 1-year of related work experience in HR highly desired.Â
College education preferred but equivalent work experience will also be considered Â
Previous experience with utilizing centralized scheduling or workforce management platforms highly desiredÂ
Â
Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.Â

Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysÂ
Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shiftÂ
Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional mannerÂ
Ability to portray a positive, professional attitude Â
Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee dataÂ
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively with a wide range of diverse personnel and guestsÂ
Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power PointÂ
Knowledge of Google Sheets or Smart Sheet, a plusÂ
Ability to use office technology and equipment, such as PC, software, and copierÂ
Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independentlyÂ

This role will be primarily based in an office setting with someinteraction with other outdoor park locationsÂ
Some exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditionsÂ
Subject to frequent interruptions, constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environmentsÂ
