Personal Support Caregiver – Full Care Support 



Breakthroughs LLC is hiring a compassionate and dependable Personal Support Caregiver to provide 1:1 support for an adult male in the Holiday area.


This position is a great opportunity for a caregiver who enjoys building meaningful relationships, providing hands-on support, and helping individuals maintain independence, comfort, and quality of life in their own home. The individual you will be supporting is very social, enjoys conversation, music, sports, movies, car rides, and spending time with family. He has a great sense of humor and appreciates caregivers who are patient, encouraging, and willing to engage with him throughout the day.


Schedule:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM /SPLIT/  3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM /SPLIT/  3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM /SPLIT/  3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM /SPLIT/  3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM /SPLIT/  3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM


  • ***You may Mix & Match the hours above to total 40 hours a week**


Responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care and daily living support
  • Assisting with hygiene, dressing, toileting, and meal support
  • Supporting wheelchair dependent individuals with mobility needs
  • Assisting with household tasks and maintaining a safe environment
  • Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful activities
  • Supporting personal choices, independence, and community involvement
  • Completing daily required documentation


Requirements:

  • Must be comfortable providing hands-on personal care
  • Experience with full care, wheelchair support, or mobility assistance preferred
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required
  • Ability to pass required background screening
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality


  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
