Position SummaryÂ
We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW or LCP) to provide high-quality clinical services to clients enrolled in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) levels of care. This hybrid position blends in-person clinical services at our Glen Burnie location with remote telehealth care, supporting both client access and clinician work-life balance.Â
The ideal candidate is an experienced clinician skilled in treating moderate to severe mental health conditions, comfortable working with higher-acuity populations, and able to provide structured, evidence-based therapy in a multidisciplinary treatment setting.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Clinical ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Provide individual psychotherapy services to clients enrolled in IOP and PHP programsÂ
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and risk assessmentsÂ
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans aligned with IOP/PHP medical necessity requirementsÂ
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate for higher levels of careÂ
- Monitor client progress, treatment engagement, and clinical outcomesÂ
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)Â
Collaboration & Program SupportÂ
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, care coordinators, and clinical leadershipÂ
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and case conferencesÂ
- Coordinate care transitions, referrals, and aftercare planning as neededÂ
- Support continuity of care between onsite and telehealth servicesÂ
Compliance & Professional PracticeÂ
- Adhere to all ethical, legal, and professional standards of practiceÂ
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, COMAR regulations, and ComeBack Care policiesÂ
- Meet clinical productivity and documentation standards consistent with IOP/PHP servicesÂ
- Participate in required trainings, clinical meetings, and continuing educationÂ
Required QualificationsÂ
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related clinical fieldÂ
- Active Maryland LCSW or LCP license in good standing (required)Â
- Experience providing therapy in IOP, PHP, or comparable higher-acuity outpatient settingsÂ
- Strong understanding of treatment planning and medical necessity for structured programsÂ
- Comfort delivering services both onsite and via telehealthÂ
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skillsÂ
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and serious mental illnessÂ
- Training in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, or ACTÂ
- Experience working within interdisciplinary treatment teamsÂ
- Bilingual abilities (a plus)Â
