Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for executing and optimizing the organization's digital marketing and communications efforts across web, email, paid media, digital platforms and other online channels. This position combines hands-on digital execution with strategic thinking, using audience insights, performance data and marketing best practices to strengthen engagement, increase awareness and support organizational goals. Working collaboratively with the Marketing & Communications team, the Digital Marketing Strategist helps transform organizational priorities, events, programs and initiatives into effective digital campaigns. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a skilled implementer who can manage day-to-day digital platforms while continually identifying opportunities to improve how the organization reaches and engages its audiences. This role is well suited for someone who can move comfortably between updating a webpage, building an email campaign, launching a Meta advertisement, reviewing analytics and recommending how a future campaign can perform better.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Digital Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution: Develop and execute audience-focused digital strategies and campaigns that support churchwide priorities,eventsand initiatives across multiple digital channels.
  • Website Management & Optimization: Manage andoptimizewebsite content to ensure it isaccurate, engaging, user-friendlyand aligned with marketing and organizationalobjectives.
  • Email Marketing & Audience Engagement: Manage email marketing and digital communications with a focus on audience segmentation, engagement,performanceand continuous improvement.
  • Paid Digital Advertising: Plan, execute andoptimizepaid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta and Google to increase awareness,engagementand conversions.
  • Analytics & Audience Development: Analyze digital performance and audience behavior to provide actionable recommendations that improve campaigns, strengthen engagement and support audience growth.
  • Digital Platforms, Collaboration & Project Management: Oversee assigned digital distribution channels and collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to execute integrated campaigns while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.


Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, digitalcommunicationsor a related role.
  • Hands-on experience managing email marketing campaigns, websitecontentand paid digital advertising.
  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, website content managementsystemsand digital analytics tools.
  • Understanding ofdigital marketing metrics, audience segmentation, conversiontrackingand campaign optimization.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and digital content best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into practical marketing recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, DigitalMediaor a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • At least three years of related digital marketing or digital communications experience preferred.
