Starting at $10.00 per hour 

Weekend availability is a must!  Some weekday and weeknight shifts available

Shifts typically start at 3:30 pm Friday and Saturdays and end around 11:30 pm

About the Role:

The Banquet Bartender plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional beverage service during banquet events, ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. This position requires the ability to efficiently prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. The Banquet Bartender collaborates closely with event coordinators and service staff to meet the specific needs of each event, adapting quickly to changing circumstances and guest requests. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential to manage orders accurately and provide outstanding guest service. Ultimately, the Banquet Bartender contributes significantly to the overall success of banquet functions by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring timely, professional service throughout the event.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a bartender, preferably in banquet or event settings
  • Must be available to work weekends.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
  • Capability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Legal eligibility to serve alcohol in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., RAM[P).
  • Experience working in a high-volume banquet or hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of cocktails, wines, and spirits.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve beverages to guests in accordance with event specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure smooth service and address any special requests or concerns.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including mixing drinks, handling cash transactions, and restocking supplies during busy events.

The required skills enable the Banquet Bartender to deliver excellent guest service by effectively communicating with guests and team members, ensuring all orders are accurately taken and fulfilled.
