Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Supervisor of Customer Service, this position administers and maintains activities for CMHA-CEI’s customer service processes. This position communicates with agency staff, individuals and their family members, and other regional staff by ensuring a welcoming, empathetic, and responsive unit. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies, and procedures, and the State of Michigan Customer Service Standards.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services (Social Work, Public Health Administration, Psychology, or related field) from an accredited college or university is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a field related to behavioral health (i.e., Substance Use Disorder/Mental Illness/Intellectual or Developmental Disability) required. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally required. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use is required.
Conditional Employment Requirements: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, verification of an acceptable driving record, educational background check, and verification of an acceptable work history. Must undergo and pass a Central Registry Clearance Check. Must pass a pre-employment 5-panel drug screen.

Salary/Hours: Starting salary $28.89 - $32.26 hourly. 40 hours per week
