Land O'Frost, located at 16850 Chicago Avenue in Lansing, IL, is the premier provider of great-tasting packaged lunchmeat, has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician. (Opportunity on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift)

 

Starting pay is $29.00/hour (+.85/hour on 2nd shift & + $1.00/hour on 3rd shift)

 

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance repairs to processing and packaging equipment. Opportunity to develop and grow within a learning culture.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person

 

Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Experience to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics required.
  • Experience to interpret mechanical blueprints and related data required.
  • Job-related experience in electrical troubleshooting preferred.
  • Must can operate all types of lifts. (ex. sit down forklift and pallet jack)
  • Must be willing to work different shifts as needed to cover vacations, or call offs.

  • Food production: 5 years (Preferred)

  • Electrical systems: 5 years (Preferred)
