Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our growing team at LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in accounting/finance. As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will assist in day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and perform analysis based on financial results.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Maintain general ledger and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare and review journal entries
Support the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory compliance reports
Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting information
Analyze financial data and generate reports for management as needed
Assist in conducting design/operating effectiveness testing of ICFR
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
Assist in communicating with headquarters to fulfill reporting requirements and provide requested information
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
- Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance or other related fields or equivalent, relevant experience

Experience:

1 to 3+ years of professional experience
Experience in manufacturing desired
Experience with SAP software preferred

Skills:

English/Korean Bilingual is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Critical thinking skills
Judgment and decision making
Complex problem solving
High attention to detail
