We are currently seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team at Lansing Correctional Facility located in Lansing, Kansas. The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues. Qualifications Documentation of education as MD or DO and completion of accredited residency program required Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry Current license to practice medicine in Kansas or ability to obtain Must have and maintain an active, non-restricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate Must be able to pass background investigation, drug screen and obtain agency security clearance where applicable Experience in a correctional health setting or institutional setting preferred 30 hours per week. 3 ten-hour weekday, in-person shifts.  We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance Generous paid time off Paid holidays Continuing Education benefits Much more...
