Shafer Redi-Mix, Inc is looking for a full-time hard-working, enthusiastic, and reliable yardman to help maintain our Lansing plant.


Our yardmen keep grounds and operations of plant location in a neat and orderly condition by performing the following duties:


-Maintains aggregate stockpile area.

-Conducts scheduled maintenance program on plant equipment.

-Maintains communication with Dispatch regarding needs or problems relating to plant.

-Train to operate front-end loader.

-Other Duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Must be able to climb excessive heights. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have a clean/valid Driver's License


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
