Job DetailsJob Location: Lansing, MI 48906-2934About the Opportunity: Compass Medical Provider, LLC is seeking experienced Optometrists to join our team in providing accurate, thorough vision screenings and refraction exams in support of the Michigan Army National Guard. This is a great opportunity for an Optometrist who enjoys working as part of a team, has a strong attention to detail, and wants to make a direct impact on the readiness and care of our soldiers.   Key Responsibilities: Provide precise vision screenings and refraction exams for soldiers during scheduled events. Perform refraction exams using a Phoropter. Accurately complete provided forms for each prescription/script. Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate with the Compass Medical Provider team to ensure soldiers receive quality care. Maintain a professional, positive, and team-focused environment.   Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of Optometry experience. Active Michigan Optometrist license in good standing. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to stand and work for extended periods of time. Comfortable screening a high volume of patients, including 100+ soldiers during an event. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Current professional credentials required.
