Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting equipment to produce parts to specification Maintain consistent communication across departments and production areas Delegate workload appropriately and support training of new team members Ensure quality and safety procedures are understood and followed at all times Complete corrective action documentation when deviations occur Operate a Hi-Lo (HILO certification required; administered by UDM Health & Safety) Apply lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and wear required PPE throughout all tasks Adhere to all company and safety policies; complete other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Hi-Lo certification (or ability to obtain upon hire through UDM Health & Safety) Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment Strong organizational and time management skills Self-motivated; able to work with minimal supervision Collaborative team player with solid communication habits Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities
