WORSHIP DIRECTOR

Full-Time | Lapeer Campus

Woodside Bible Church is seeking a passionate and spiritually mature Worship Director to lead the Worship Ministry at our Lapeer Campus. This full-time role is responsible for creating Christ-centered, engaging worship experiences through worship leadership, service planning, volunteer development, and collaboration with campus and Central Worship teams.

The ideal candidate is a gifted musician, strong leader, and servant-hearted shepherd who is passionate about helping people encounter Jesus through worship and developing volunteers to use their gifts for God's glory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee worship services, special events, and seasonal gatherings.
• Collaborate with the Campus Pastor to plan meaningful and engaging worship experiences.
• Build and manage multitrack sessions and worship service elements.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop volunteer musicians and production team members.
• Foster a culture of excellence, humility, discipleship, and spiritual growth within the Worship Ministry.
• Create and manage service plans using Planning Center Online and related ministry tools.
• Coordinate worship technology, production elements, and online service resources.
• Manage Worship Ministry budgets and administrative responsibilities.
• Participate in campus life, pastoral care opportunities, and broader ministry initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Active member of Woodside Bible Church with a growing and evident relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Strong vocal and instrumental leadership ability (guitar or piano preferred).
• Experience leading worship and developing volunteer teams in a church or ministry setting.
• Knowledge of worship technology, multitracks, and production systems preferred.
• Strong organizational, relational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to disciple, encourage, and lead others in a collaborative ministry environment.
• Minimum high school diploma required; college degree in music, worship ministry, or a related field preferred.
• Three or more years of worship ministry experience strongly preferred.

Position Details:

• Full-time position.
• Requires regular weekend ministry responsibilities and participation in special events, rehearsals, and seasonal services.
• Active membership and ongoing participation at Woodside Bible Church required.
