Position: Entry-Level Manufacturing Team Member
Location: Lapeer, MI
Lapeer Plating & Plastics, Inc. is seeking highly motivated, team-oriented individuals with a continuous improvement mindset to join our growing team as Entry-Level Manufacturing Team Members. No prior experience is necessary — we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed!
Shift Options:
General Manufacturing:
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Mon – Fri
Job Responsibilities:
As an Entry-Level Manufacturing Team Member, you will contribute to the production of high-quality plastic and chrome-plated automotive components. Responsibilities include:
Inspection: Check components for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
Trimming: Remove excess plastic or chrome from components.
Packing: Prepare parts for shipment by packing them into boxes or containers.
Material Handling: Load and unload components efficiently to maintain workflow.
Lifting: Handle components weighing up to 60 lbs.
This role requires flexibility and may include any of the above tasks.

Position Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
Physical capability to stand, move, and lift up to 60 lbs. for extended periods
Reliable transportation to work
Strong work ethic and punctuality, especially during the 60-day probationary period
Commitment to adhere to safe work practices and procedures
Basic math skills for packing and inventory purposes
