JOB TITLE:  

Broadcast Studio Manager, Student Media

JOB PURPOSE:   

To assist with managing the bookings for the studio and to oversee the use of the studio by clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Assist with managing the bookings for the studio.
  2. Ensure there is appropriate coverage and oversight for clients using the studio.
  3. Prepare invoices for clients and obtain appropriate signatures.
  4. Ensure that the equipment is in working order before and after use.
  5. Liaise with studio support staff that may be needed for clients’ projects.
  6. Assist with creating effective marketing campaigns for the studio.
  7. Clean and organize the studio and equipment as needed.
  8. Maintain the equipment and notify Student Media Supervisor of necessary repairs and replacements needed. 
  9. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  1. Full-time student
  2. Minimum 2.5 GPA
  3. Proficiency with studio equipment.
  4. Must be available to start work Aug. 18, 2025
  5. Must be available for publication deadlines on Sundays and Wednesday nights.
  6. Must be available Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for training

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:   

  1. Some supervisory experience. 
  2. Prior broadcasting and video production experience.
  3. Knowledge of industry-related software.
