JOB TITLE: 

Car Rental Attendant

JOB PURPOSE:  

Prepare vehicles for car rental customers.

Please Note: Starting Salary: $11.00 per hour. After successfully completing a 4-month probationary period, the hourly rate increases to $11.50 per hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fuel rental vehicles upon return.
Staging vehicles for outgoing rentals.
Prep and staging vehicles for outgoing rentals.
Transporting vehicles as needed.
Provide courtesy rides for customers as needed.
Inspecting vehicles and document damages.
Complete all other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Hold a current driver’s license with a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in compliance with the ‘Driving for University Business Standard Administrative Policy and Procedure.’
Availability in the afternoons is required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

Ability to read, understand and follow all traffic laws.
Ability to read, understand and follow set guidelines and regulations.
Ability to operate vehicles in a safe and professional manner in all types of weather and road conditions.
Ability to park and back-up vehicles into designated areas.
Ability to be on time, reliable and able to complete assignments in a timely manner.
