JOB TITLE:  

Teaching Aide

JOB PURPOSE:   

Assist with duties including: curriculum instruction, indoor and outdoor supervision of play, nap time, diaper changing, and assistance with assessment of individual children.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Work in classroom with children 3 months to 5 years old.  Assist with duties including: curriculum instruction, indoor and outdoor supervision of play, nap time, diaper changing, and assistance with assessment of individual children.

COMPETENCIES: 

Professional, compassionate, able to work under stressful situations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

High School diploma or GED and some experience working with children

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:   

Enrolled UW student with experience working with children
