POSITION: Part-Time Usher                         

DEPARTMENT:  Events

REPORTS TO: Director of Operations and Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following:

Be on time. Be in a clean, presentable uniform and ready to work at your call time. Smile, make eye contact and be courteous! Be proactive – approach your guest, don’t wait for them to approach you. Be certain that each guest is greeted in a warm and friendly manner (“Hello, May I show you to your seat?). Escort all guest to their seats when possible. Inspect your area prior to an event to be certain that is clean and presentable to our guest. Check each ticket thoroughly noting date, section, seat and row number. Receive and act upon complaints from guest and refer them to your supervisor if unable to satisfy their needs. Know where your supervisor is at all times. Keep aisles clear of people. Politely inform guest where smoking is allowed. Notify your supervisor when spills or accidents occur in your section. When observing a guest with unauthorized contraband, contact your supervisor immediately if your polite request is met with resistance. 

Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience        

Previous customer service experience required.  

Skills and Abilities

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) will be strongly preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills are a must.
