Job Summary

The Task Worker (Game Staff) will provide support to the designated sport as directed by a Athletic supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide event support to the designated sport.

• Duties include, but are not limited to scoreboard, public address, instant replay, video streaming, and photography.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirement

• Education - High school graduate or equivalent.

• Experience - 1 Year experience in related sport activity.

• May not be currently enrolled undergraduate student at Texas A&M International University.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of:

• Strong customer service skills.

• Commitment and capabilities to abide by NCAA By-Laws and Lone Star Conference regulations.

Ability to:

• Interact effectively and professionally with the general public.

• Work under stress and with pressing timelines.

• Multi-task.

• Communicate effectively, orally and in writing.

• None

Other Requirements

• Position is temporary, assigned per game/event and on an as-needed basis. 

• The above job duties may not be performed in every task worker position and may not include all related duties that might be performed.

• Position requires working days, evenings, and/or weekends at home games/events. 

• Position requires strict punctuality to arrive to work promptly at the scheduled time.

• Position requires on campus, face-to-face interactions.

• Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance in the workplace.

Pay of Rate: $20.00/hourly for up to 15 hours weekly
