Bulk WIP Material Handler

Position Overview:

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials, parts, and products within a warehouse or production facility. This position plays a vital role in ensuring inventory accuracy, production support, and timely delivery of goods to internal and external customers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Load, unload, and move materials using pallet jacks, or electric stackers.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
• Store materials in designated areas, ensuring organization and accessibility.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Communicate any material shortages, damages, or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Able to work in Warehouse Elements – high heat and cold temperatures.
• Able to lift an average of 40lbs repetitively.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience with a pallet jack

Other Skills/Abilities:

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Have the ability to work overtime.
• Verbal and Written communication skills

Physical Demands:

• Bending and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods.
