Pay: $30 - $35 / hour

What to Expect?

This position reports to Maintenance Manager/ Supervisor and is responsible for all maintenance, repair and modifications needed to maintain company’s equipment and support systems in the process of raw and finished goods.  Set up of equipment and working with the production departments to ensure production and efficiencies are met daily.  Mechanic is responsible to ensure equipment runs properly on any lines.  Responsible for the training, repair, removal and installation of machines and equipment, as needed by production.

On a daily basis our Production Maintenance Mechanic:

  • Install, set up, and maintain production equipment to support efficient operations (from basic setup to advanced troubleshooting, depending on experience).

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production lines and support equipment.

  • Operate and maintain power and hand tools safely for repair and preventive maintenance tasks.

  • Test and replace electrical components such as fuses, cords, and plugs, using meters and probes.

  • Read and interpret measurements, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams to perform setups, repairs, or upgrades.

  • Collaborate with peers and support teams to resolve production issues and keep lines running smoothly.

  • Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and part fabrication (advanced roles), including basic welding and wiring of circuits up to 480V.

  • Lead, train, and direct junior technicians (advanced roles) to ensure task completion and knowledge sharing.

  • Work safely with chemicals and wear appropriate PPE such as respirators, when required.

  • Support continuous improvement by maintaining detailed records and participating in ongoing training.

What You Will Need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in production maintenance or similar.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to learn new systems and tools—advanced knowledge preferred for senior roles.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to teamwork.

  • Leadership and project management skills preferred.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, noisy environment.
