THE OPPORTUNITY
Gilmartin is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position as an Analyst. This role is based in-person in the San Francisco Bay Areaand may involve occasional, paid travel to client and conference locations across the United States..
Successful candidates will work closely with senior Gilmartin executives to manage client engagements, strategize and develop investor-facing materials on behalf of clients, build capital markets advisory materials to present to clients, and gain experience as part of a strategic advisory team. The role will also include tracking sector trends and data, project managing initial public offerings (IPOs) and other capital raise activities, and creating and sharing internal best practice materials. In this role, Analysts will be asked to take their FINRA Licensing Exams: SIE, Series 82, and Series 63, and potentially Series 79.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyst Role
- Support Gilmartin team and client companies in a broad and dynamic range of responsibilities spanning investor relations, strategic communications, financial analysis, and capital markets reporting
- Track and report on client and competitor/peer business developments and financial results
- Collect and analyzing sell side model estimates and maintain consensus model
- Support senior company executives in preparation for quarterly and annual financial reporting (i.e., earnings calls) , including logistics, drafting earnings releases, and management Q&A preparation
- Manage calendar of investor outreach and investor-facing activities on behalf of clients, including conferences, non-deal roadshows and other major events
- Participate in client meetings and calls
- Assist with the preparation of presentation materials
- Review and recommend content and updates for IR website
- Database maintenance and entry
- Contribute to our work to build out and standardize firm-wide A.I. capabilities
Experience and Requirements
- BA/BS degree; Finance or business degree preferred; but successful candidates have had degrees from biology to international relations
- Business or finance internship experience preferred
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills
- Keen interest in equity markets and corporate finance
- Confident and professional phone and e-mail communication
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Fast typing and ability to edit materials quickly in Microsoft Office suite
