Job DetailsJob Location: Ward Feed Yard - Larned, KS 67550Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: NoneTravel Percentage: NoneMechanic –Livestock Feeding Operation Location: Larned, KS Employment Type: Full‑Time About the Role We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles and equipment used in large‑scale animal agriculture operations, including pickups, trucks, tractors, loaders, and feed trucks. This position plays a key role in keeping our operation running efficiently by ensuring equipment is reliable, safe, and ready for daily use. You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and collaborate with employees across the location to support production and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Key Responsibilities Diagnose & Repair pickups, trucks, tractors, loaders, feed trucks, and other agricultural equipment Perform Preventative Maintenance on fleet vehicles and farm machinery Maintain Maintenance Records and audit daily equipment logs Manage Inventory of tools, parts, lubricants, and shop supplies Support shop safety, cleanliness, and livestock‑area biosecurity standards Participate and work collaboratively with other employees at the location Qualifications Minimum two years of verifiable experience in vehicle or equipment maintenance, preferably in agricultural or industrial settings Strong mechanical knowledge of repair methods, tools, and materials Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues across mixed fleets Ability to read, interpret, communicate, and apply information from manuals, safety guidelines, and maintenance documents Why Join Us?
