Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing and/or pesticide applications, digging, raking, and sprinkler installation./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pul liGather and remove litter./li liUse hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes./li liOperate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws./li liWater lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans./li liPrune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws./li liMix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders./li liCare for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls./li liFollow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage./li liTrim or pick flowers and clean flower beds./li liAttach wires from planted trees to support stakes./li liPlant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools./li liMow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers./li liRake, mulch, and compost leaves./li liDecorate gardens with stones or plants./li liOther duties may be assigned./li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pul liHigh School Diploma or GED./li liMust be able to lift 50lbs./li liMust exhibit energy and enthusiasm for the job./li liMust be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision./li liAbility to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop and kneel continuously while performing essential job functions./li liAbility to work in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures./li liMust have flexible availability and be able to work weekends and holidays./li/ulpstrongJob Benefits:/strong/pul li401(k)/li liDental Insurance/li liHealth Insurance/li liLife Insurance/li liPaid Time Off/li liTuition Reimbursement/li liVision insurance/li/ulpstrongBenefit Conditions/strong/pul liOnly full-time employees are eligible./li/ulpSonoma Ranch Golf Course offers beautiful scenery and enjoyable golf experiences for all skill levels.
