Independent License Salary: $70,000 - $84,700 (3 levels based on experience and education)

Job Summary
We are seeking an independently licensed mental health counselor (LPCC or LMFT) to serve as a Group Therapy Therapist to provide direct clinical services through facilitating and supervising evidence-based group therapy within our Outpatient Services. This position focuses on delivering high-quality therapeutic groups to diverse populations while maintaining clinical integrity, documentation compliance, and adherence to evidence-based practices. The Group Therapy Therapist Lead ensures participant outcomes and therapeutic quality across all group programming.

What you’ll Do:
Â
- Facilitate therapeutic groups utilizing evidence-based modalities appropriate to identified participant needs (e.g., psycho-educational groups, process groups, skill-building groups, DBT skills groups)
- Provide group therapy and relevant services in alignment with agency and contract standards
- Oversee and supervise non-independently licensed clinicians and paraprofessionals in the provision of Group Therapy
- Maintain timely and accurate client record documentation in the EHR system for all group participants, ensuring adherence to clinical standards, agency policies, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure continuity of care and access to services for group participants
- Collaborate with team members regard client care and group progress
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation within group settings when needed
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team including clinical supervisors, case managers, peer support workers, and community support workers
- Maintain therapeutic presence and modeling of respect, professionalism, and clinical integrity with clients and colleagues

What You Need:
- Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling or Family and Marriage Therapy
- Current Independent New Mexico State License (LPCC or LMFT)
- Certification in Clinical Supervision, or willingness to obtain certification within two months of hire
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work 40 hours weekly
- Willingness to work non traditional hours
- Strong emotional resilience and stress management skills
- Capacity to make rapid and sound clinical decisions as needed
