As a Director, Health & Benefits, you will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to our largest and most complex clients. You will lead multidimensional consulting engagements, driving strategy across the full spectrum of health and welfare programs. This role demands sophisticated client relationship management, team leadership, and business development expertise. Directors play a key role in growing client accounts, mentoring rising talent, and advancing innovative benefits strategies that align with each clientās unique culture and business goals.Ā

How You Will Contribute:āÆĀ
Ā
Serve as the senior relationship lead for a portfolio of complex, national clients across multiple industriesĀ
Drive strategic planning, design, and execution of total rewards and benefits programsĀ
Lead and inspire cross-functional client teams to deliver consistent, high-quality consulting deliverablesĀ
Actively engagein client governance, plan performance reviews, and high-stakes presentationsĀ
Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships by delivering innovative, data-driven solutionsĀ
Oversee vendor selection, performance management, and implementation activitiesĀ
Provide executive-level support on escalated client and vendor issuesĀ
Develop and present multi-year strategic roadmaps aligned with client prioritiesĀ
Participate in and lead new business development efforts, including RFP responses, finalist presentations, and solution designĀ
Partner across practices and subject matter experts (SMEs) in areas such as pharmacy, absence management, and population healthĀ
Provide mentorship and coaching to junior and mid-level consultants, fostering a high-performing, collaborative cultureĀ

Licenses and Certifications:Ā Ā

State Life & Health license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Ā

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:Ā
Ā
Bachelorās degree required; Masterās degree or advanced professional certification preferredĀ
10+ years of progressive consulting or brokerage experience in employee benefitsĀ
Proven ability to grow and retain a book of business through outstanding client delivery and consultative salesĀ
Demonstrated leadership in managing large client teams and complex benefit strategiesĀ
Advanced knowledge of health and welfare plans, funding methodologies, compliance frameworks, and vendor landscapeĀ
Exceptional executive presence, communication skills, and negotiation capabilitiesĀ
Analytical mindset with strong command of benefits financials and performance metricsĀ
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPointĀ

Pay Range
$160k - $200k AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
