Position Summary:
Step into the spotlight in our Dental Office Front Desk role (Patient Experience Specialist), where you’ll transform every patient visit into a memorable journey of care and comfort. Imagine guiding patients through their treatment plans with clarity and warmth, helping them navigate the maze of insurance and financial details with ease, and ensuring they leave feeling both informed and reassured. You'll be the trusted partner patients rely on, all while collaborating closely with the Office Manager to enhance every aspect of their experience. Essential Functions:
Verify accuracy of patient demographics, patient access form completion, and completion of consents.
Review the approved treatment plan and assist patient with financial arrangements for multi-visit treatments.
Schedule patient appointments.
Manage the faculty, staff, and student schedules to achieve utilization goals through efficient use of appointment time and chair availability.
Work with clinical team to effectively manage daily patient flow.
Complete patient insurance pre-authorization.
Coordinate treatment data collection including consent forms, policy forms, and post-care forms.
Check patients in and out for appointments.
Receive and respond to incoming communications from patients and outside entities.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years of experience in a dental office, or a mix of education, experience, and training that equips you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities listed in the job description.
Bilingual Preferred (Spanish speaking)
Administrative experience in a dental practice with knowledge of dental insurance and dental procedures is required; training or education in these areas will be considered.
