Banquet Cook - Steady Extra (Caesars Forum LV)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Banquet Cook is responsible for preparing food for banquets

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

• Prior line cooking experience including sauté, grill, fry oven and steam.

• Posses a team player attitude and be flexible.

• Understand and have basic knowledge of sanitation procedures.

• Prior cooking experience plus 1-2 years prior cooking experience

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:  

·         Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.

·         Must present a neat and professional appearance.

·         Work requires teamwork with other staff members.

·         Work prefers 2-3 years cook experience.

·         Ability to read and follow directions from recipes..

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:  

High volume, fast paced, with frequent interruptions. Requires regular lifting and moving of furniture.  Must interface well with co-workers and management.  Long hours involved, flexible working hours and available on weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and pull/push up to 150 pounds. Able to work in temperatures ranging between 40 and 110. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Able to bend, lift, and reach throughout shift.
